During your comprehensive eye exam at Avalon Eye Care, your visual acuity will be tested and a number of tests will be performed to determine your eye health and whether prescription eyewear is required or needs to be updated to correct refractive errors. After this testing has been completed, your eye doctor will gather additional information so you can be fitted with contact lenses. We teach all our patients proper contact lens care in details and possible consequences if proper care is not taken.
The optometrist will determine the best fitting lens based on the shape and the health of your eyes and your lifestyle. In most cases the doctor will offer 1 -2 brands that fits you best and offer samples to try for few days before making a decision. We will follow up and may suggest any necessary changes in fit or materials to get you the best possible fit. Then we continue with long-term follow-up to monitor the condition of the lenses and to ensure that proper hygiene is being maintained.
We offer a wide selection of contact lenses including disposable soft contact, bifocal/multifocal, toric, and colored lenses. Whether you wear daily, weekly or monthly disposables, or conventional (vial) lenses, check out our selection of lenses that fit your needs.
