COVID-19 Update
We are excited to share with you that we are resuming normal hours at Avalon Eye Care starting June 23 2020. We would like to assure you that we have taken the necessary precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
Hours of Operations are:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
This is a reminder that we are still taking the following precautions:
- We will be screening all patients for COVID-19 symptoms at the time of booking and upon arrival to the clinic
- Patients will not be allowed to bring anyone else with them to their appointments
- Upon arrival, patients will be expected to wear face masks and sanitize their hands. Sanitizing station will be setup at entry
- Both staff and patients will be expected to maintain a two meter physical distance when possible
- Staff and Doctors will all be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) recommended by the Ontario Association of Optometrists
- Staff will continue to sanitize frames after they are handled by patients and before returning them to the display board
- We will be tracking arrival and departure times of patients
- We have modified our waiting area to two waiting chairs set up 2 meters apart
- Cash payments will not be accepted at this time
